edition---as well as all competing anthologies---by including Plato's Laches, selections from Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics (on courage), Descartes' Discourse on Method, the remainder of Berkeley's Treatise Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge, and the whole of Kant's Prolegomena,
