For each unit: Self-check exercises involving dictionary use and practice with the unit vocabulary (Pour enrichir votre vocabulaire) Pre-reading activities focusing on vocabulary development specific to each reading and on its themes to activate schemata (Pour vous pr parer la lecture). Pre- and post-listening activities accompany the authentic listening material in which native speakers discuss themes relating to the unit (Pour vous pr parer l coute). Recordings of selected readings (poems, letter, songs) are also available for listening practice outside of or in class. Self-check grammar exercises (Pour travailler la forme et les structures) provide extra practice for students who need more.
