Sameer Hinduja is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University. For the past several years, Hinduja and his coauthor Justin W. Patchin have been exploring the online behaviors of adolescents, including social networking and cyberbullying. They travel across the United States training teachers, parents, and others about how to keep their kids safe online. They administer a Web site as an information clearinghouse for those interested in learning more about cyberbullying. He received his PhD in criminal justice from Michigan State University.
